Optometrist Dr. Amy Lee

Dr. Amy Lee is dedicated to providing superior eye care to your entire family and is excited to bring Accurate Family Vision to Gilbert.

Dr. Lee resides in Queen Creek.  Prior to living in Arizona, Dr. Lee was a native to the Chicago area where she was born and raised. Dr. Lee obtained her undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She then went on to pursue her optometric education at the Illinois College of Optometry. She graduated with her doctorate in optometry in 2004 and moved to Arizona shortly thereafter.

Dr. Lee has been a resident of the East Valley since 2004 and has been an active participant in the community. Dr. Lee has contributed her time in recent years to events such as the Onesight Vision Van where eye exams and glasses were provided to underprivileged children. She was also featured on Fox 10 during this event. She has volunteered at optical events for the Special Olympics athletes, provided charitable eye exams to working women in need through Goodwill, and she has cared for the elderly in nursing home around Phoenix by providing them with eyecare and glasses.

Dr. Lee has experience in many areas of optometry and general ophthalmology including Lasik and cataract co-management, complex contact lens fittings, and has managed complex ocular conditions like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.   Her passion is orthokeratology and CRT(corneal refractive therapy) which helps control myopia in children. The experiences she has gained from each of these aspects of optometry has allowed her to provide excellent well-rounded care for her patients.

Dr. Lee enjoys working with patients of all ages and is excited to be a part of the Gilbert area. In her spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two labradors hiking San Tan Mountain, camping, and traveling.
